Hosted at the Australian Consulte-General in New York, a short screening of Somewhere Near Tapachula will also feature a presentation by notables of the multi-award winning documentary, Pam Skuse and Moacir Zeledon.

The reception will benefit Misión México Children’s Refuge as featured in the film, and the refuge’s vision for ‘MissionSurf’, a surf school and camp established to further the future of the children of Misión México.

$20 admission covers entry, film screening and entertainment, as well as refreshments including cocktails, wine, beer, jarritos sodas and hors d’oeuvres.

A silent auction will include a surfboard provided by GSI Surfboards, painted by Joe Hodnicki from Sharing The Stoke. Restaurant gift certificates. Bottles of wine. Plus many more.

100% of funds raised goes to ‘MissionSurf’!

Please come and join us and support this great cause.
