SMASH Productions & Picture Farm Gallery are pleased to announce the run of show for It Doesn’t Not Work II: Pushing The Outer Limits of Pure Surf Design. The Exhibit will kick off Saturday, April 25th, 1PM at Picture Farm Gallery (338 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY). Local surfboard shapers, hobbyists, creative individuals and such will be on hand displaying their latest creations & oddities. The general public will have the opportunity to engage all these surfboard designers on their concepts and gain insight into the creative process of shaping surfboards.

It Doesn’t Not Work is a surf craft design event that explores the process of the art & craft of surf-riding design and a presentation of experimental shapes, work-in-progress projects and tried-and-true formulas.

List of Participating Shapers: Jonathan Wong, George Rocha, Motthew Holloway, Brayden Brown, Jeremy Grosvener, Kris Chatterson, Jan Drojarski, Chris Johnson, Anthony Romano, Christian Boalt, Richard Dennis, Luke Cushman, Jacques Beriau, Bryan Siegfried-Doring, Paul Vitale, Scott Kurttila, Michael Miyahira, J. Scott Klossner, Mike Lukens, Mark Petrocelli, Vava Ribeiro, Tremor Temchin, Colin Savage, Will Rose, & Jeff Taylor.

In addition to the surfboard exhibit, It Doesn’t Not Work will be premiering the film “A Day Late & A Dollar Short: The Dale Egan Story” and Red Bull’s “Slideways” at 7:30PM in Picture Farm Gallery.

The It Doesn’t Not Work II show and Film Screenings are Free and Opened to the public.

In addition to the It Doesn’t Not Work show, Picture Farm Gallery is proud to announce the photographs of Jair Bortoleto will grace the gallery walls in conjunction with the It Doesn’t Not Work surf craft design symposium. Jair’s pop-up show titled “Layers” details his time spent over one winter on the North Shore of Oahu. Jair was the editor of The Surfer’s Journal Brazil and now edits Alma Surf Magazine.

Layers Opens Friday evening 6PM-9PM at Picture Farm Gallery.
